Box, Inc. is a public company based in Redwood City, California. It develops and markets cloud-based content management, collaboration, and file sharing tools for businesses.At Box’s SWAT department we work from a Kanban Board that tracks our sprints. A lot of this work is tracked through JIRA and we get work from all kinds of customers that could vary from Personal Accounts, Small Businesses, Tier 2 and Tier 1 customers etc. - Use SQL GCP and the command line along side Script running to identify and complete issues related to content migration. - Use PHP to write code, debug, update, and test any outdated scripts using Git in industry practice in the local dev environment. After the changes meet expectations we move over to our staging environment where either one of us at SWAT tests it in staging or another department does QA testing. Once all the testing and merging is done the code is pushed into production either for our use or for customer use.

Interests

Apart from being a web developer, I enjoy most of my time reading books based on History and Foreign Policy . In the winter, I am in overdrive activism because elections tend to come around this time. During the warmer months here in California, I enjoy soccer MMA volleyball, can not forget reading time :), and of course spending time with my beloved friends and family.

When forced indoors, I follow a routine which can be learning new programming languages or my favorite is reading my books I typically read from 4 at a time which tend to be connected though history to give me a better understanding. As for fantasy, movies and television shows, I like Star Wars, Regular Show , and Youtube Foreign Policy I spend a large amount of my free time exploring the latest technological advancements as well as economic. I listen to different professors and various voices on critical and controveral domestic and international affairs.
